Coastal Empire Photography is actually "Jason and Gennie", a husband and wife team who've been photographing historic Savannah and the Coastal Empire for almost ten years. Savannah's buildings, squares, spanish moss covered live oaks, and living history has served as our muse and biggest source of inspiration. It's impossible to live in Savannah and not appreciate the beauty around you.

Our focus up until now has been mainly landscape photography, but have recently branched out into portrait, event, and wedding photography.

As a couple, we've been together for 11 years and married for seven. We currently reside in West Chatham, with our 10 year old son and four very rotten birds. 

While we're both happy in our careers, photography serves as a creative outlet, which will hopefully blossom into a full-time career for the both of us. We enjoy meeting people and making their special days even more special. We like to capture the moments they'll treasure for the rest of their lives. We like to think of ourselves more as photojournalists than "pose and shoot" photographers. We believe in capturing all the special moments of your big day. That's why we do our best to remain in the background and document the festivities. We believe that the candid shots are sometimes the most memorable.
